We stayed 3 nights over New Year and wow!! From the moment we arrived we felt special, welcomed and totally relaxed. We said we would be back and so it proved. What an excellent B & B. Netty is a wonderful host and such a bubbly person. Her breakfast is a great start to the day (especially her porridge). On arriving we received a tray of tea and home made buns which went down great after a day in York. If... More

Spent two wonderful nights at this excellent bed and breakfast establishment at the end of october. We normally stay much more central in york but the location was stunning and the views alone were worth the extra mileage. Annette who runs the bed and breakfast is so welcoming and bubbly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms were immaculate and... More

The only disappointment was that we could only stay for one night! This is a truly amazing B&B run by someone who knows how to offer something that little bit special. From the home-made flapjack and cookies on arrival, to a relaxing couple of hours in the parlour, to the fantastic breakfast where nothing was too much trouble, everything was... More

The breakfast is delicious with lots of homemade foods and locally sourced and if you go hungry it is your own fault as there is plenty of... More

What can we say, except that we didn't want to leave! Unfortunately, we were only able to spend one night here, which was definitely not long enough. We were given the warmest of welcomes with coffee, hot chocolate, cakes and cookies - yum! Our rooms were both beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean with breathtaking views of the Yorkshire countryside. The breakfasts... More
