I stayed here for a weekend as it was cheap but I wish I had paid a bit extra and gone somewhere nicer. The staff are quite abrupt and although the pub advertises breakfast it never actually seemed to be open on a morning. The rooms are filthy. The sheets are clean which is the main thing but the carpet,... More

I booked this as a last minute deal room was disgusting mould on ceiling window rotten carpet filthy and the bathroom was just filthy. I complained and girl basically shrugged her shoulders till I demanded a better room. She put me in an upgraded better looking room with flat screen and ironing board but still the curtain and carpet and... More

You get what you pay for. I stayed there 1 night, chose it as was close to motorway and cheap. The room was basic, but had 2 comfy beds, tv with freeview and ensuite bath. Not best standard, bathroom bit dirty and overall place in need of refurbishment, but lots of space, kettle and tea/coffee, friendly staff and overall reasonable... More

Sunday lunch worst I've had in 40 years. When asking why Chicken dinner was drowned in beef gravy I was told that it comes that way and that the staff like it. No one said sorry you ate none of it or offered an alternative. Maybe should have noticed we were the only people who ordered it. Give this place... More

We arrived and got handed the keys for the room, the hotel room was awful, lights didn't work, bathroom was disgusting, and really didn't want to stay there. We upgraded to the better room which cost £41 overall, this should have been the basic simple room but even that wasn't good, there were cables that had been broken off the... More

We booked The Village Motel totally at the last minute - we suddenly needed somewhere to stay near Leeds and it was cheap and available so we went for it. It was only when we got there that we realized why it was so cheap and available. I almost put my foot down and refused to stay. To be fair... More
