I have stayed a few times over the last couple of years at this B&B, and each time the room has been warm and clean, breakfast excellent, and the welcome by Ron and Lesley has been absolutely fantastic. I cannot rate their hospitality and accommodation highly enough. Although I have been on away on business when stopping, I would have... More

What a great find! I don't think we've stayed in a better B&B - every thing was carefully planned and all eventualities catered for. The 'Blue Room' was lovely - huge, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and great facilities. It was exactly what we needed after a day's walking the South Downs Way! More

Such a gem. A really warm welcome from the owners - nothing was too much trouble! The room was large and well equipped (tv, kettle, hair dryer), lovely soft pillows. Shower brilliant and much appreciated after a hard day cycling! Breakfast was great although I think the packed lunch was even better. The whole place was absolutely spotless. I wouldn't... More

Stayed at this friendly, comfortable b&b with a friend, and what a find ! Lesley and Ron make you very welcome, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Nothing was too much trouble and practically every request was granted straight away with cheerful disposition. Lesley even took the time to drive us out to the start point of a... More

Some people are just great at making you feel comfortable in their home. The owners of this b&b have what it takes in spades. I arrived hobbling after a long walk on the Downs and was immediately given blister plasters and led to an immaculate room with power shower ensuite. Throughout the owner could'nt do enough for us. Would highly... More

Having been let down by a previously booked B&B for the August bank holiday weekend, I spoke with Lesley who was only able to offer me a one night stay at her B&B. However, having chosen the Pink Room from the website I was not disappointed! The bed was fantastically comfortable, the shower room with huge walk in shower was... More

We stayed in a family room with our two children for just one night. The owners were really lovely and friendly and even put some colouring books and pencils on the kids beds for them, which was a really nice touch. The room was light and modern with a fantastic bathroom. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and tea, coffee, horlicks... More

Our cycle across the South Downs took longer than expecting - arriving in Upper Beeding in total darkness at 10pm. Hospitality at the Downs View couldn't have been better - to the point that they even offered to drive to pick us up! Rooms were comfortable, clean & spacious. Breakfast was huge & delicious. Thank-you Downs View! More

We came by bicycle for a one-night stay, not expecting anything in particular, but what we got was out of the ordinary. Rooms are huge and beautifully appointed with everything we could have wished for. Breakfast was even more huge, delicious, with more choices than we could taste. And the owners are something special, going far out of their way... More
