My friend and I stayed here whilst walking the South Downs Way. This is a very large house and our room was very spacious, light and airy. My father had stayed at Downs View several times, so it was the obvious place to stay when I visited Upper Beeding. The rooms are delightful, each featuring a different colour scheme. Lesley and Ron cannot do enough to be helpful, while at the same time making one feel completely at home. I recommend Downs View wholeheartedly.

A brilliant B&B. We stayed as a family of 4 in the very spacious Lilac Room - even with a huge 6' 6" bed for us, and 2 singles for our son and daughter there was plenty of room for us all. I had the pleasure to stay in the above b&b, what an absolute pleasure, this should be a 5* b&b. The place was excellent and as for the breakfast that was amazing. I was amazed at how friendly and welcoming the family were and the rooms were done to such a high standard.

Lesley and Ron fully deserve the credits posted on Tripadvisor. They are both wonderful hosts and the fantastic quality of their B&B Downs View is a great credit to them. The breakfast is wonderful. A great place to stay overnight for anyone walking on the South Downs Way.
