This is a lovely old building which is nicely maintained and is clean and shiny throughout. We booked the suite and had a great room. The Inn is on a busy main road which makes it a great central location for seeing all the sites but it does mean that day time traffic is a problem. However by 7.30 everyone... More

Helpful, pleasant staff, fish and chip night good value on 2-4-1 offer, oven chips need cooking or better still replacing with proper chips. Big gaps in windows in upstairs room, good job weather nit cold. Only minor changes needed to make a great difference.

We stayed here for a single Saturday night and on the face of it the location is great, it's a lovely Cotswold style old coaching inn but there was just something "missing". Perhaps it was the management? On arrival, we were chatting to the manager but instead of a friendly welcome he told us how unusual it was for us... More

The Colesbourne Inn is an attractively refurbished 17th century Inn. On arriving a little early we were given a warm welcome by the staff who couldn't do enough for us. Trevor was busy with other customers upon our arrival but once available dashed off to check if the room was ready; which it was. We sat and enjoyed a light... More

We visited the Colesbourne Inn on Easter Monday and stayed one night. It was very enjoyable, lovely log fires which were great as it was very cold outside. The room we had was fabulous and the food was great. We would certainly recommend this Inn to anybody. Staff were very friendly too and the Landlord and his Wife looked after... More

I treated my husband to a weekend in Cheltenham for his birthday and chose The Colesbourne Inn as the place for our bed, breakfast and evening meal - and I'm so pleased I did. What a lovely place! All of the staff were pleasant throughout our stay and happy to converse whilst we were in the bar or the restaurant.... More

Blazing log fires, varied menu including all Sunday Roast options, food beautifully cooked and presented, good selection of real ales, great background music (at just the right volume - not invasive), lots of seating options with loads of space, sumptuous leather sofas to sink into, international rugby on the plasma screen, bar billiards with my granddaughter, helpful and friendly staff... Stayed here at the back end of the snow in Jan, and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate, the food great, and the roaring log fires and ales certainly kept us warm. The breakfast was delicious, no more and no less than i would have wanted, and at the prices charge all i... More
