“Great little hidden gem !”

We visited this pub/restaurant as we were staying down the road in Camber Sands resort and had heard good reports from friends. It is hidden away so you won't see this on the main road. With a positive forecast for the weekend, my girlfriend and I decided to head for the East Sussex coast. Rye looked good but as soon as I Googled the town centre's hotels it soon became apparent everyone else had had the same idea and they were all full. “We recommend this place”

The Green Owl is a fantastic place to stay, rooms are very clean, breakfast and dinner very tasty, with a good selection. Bus stop close by takes you straight into Rye and the beach is opposite. All the staff make you feel welcome, as do the locals, looking forward to going back.

“WOW What a Find!! A Perfect place to escape to.”

We were advised to stay at The Green Owl by Michael Lee the pro at Rye Golf Club, and are so pleased that we did. We would never have found it otherwise as the Green Owl is tucked away under the dunes next to the beach at Camber Sands. The way that Paul runs the place leaves nothing to chance.... More
