“Cozy very affordable mountain refuge near great hikes”

On our drive from Argentina to Chile, we stopped at Refugio San Antonio for a hike and a night in the snowcapped Andes. We checked in quickly, were shown to our warm rooms (in-wall electric heaters) and we headed out for an amazing hike up the gorge and past the ski resort. Great views. The site is beautiful, a good attention of the mastery, comfortable quarters and natural striking landscape. I advise to take coat and to realize treks to the hill San Bernardo. The guide Emanuel is very professional.
