Stayed twice now on route to buying cattle in Cumbria and a Landrover Cross Country driving course nearby - relaxed and friendly and good pub grub. Our dogs love it! Nice pint and friendly staff. Locals very welcoming and chatty. A Rohan shop just opposite - bought a great Merino wool hat!

A group of us often stop here for a meal after a day in the Dales. It never fails to impress. It serves above average pub food, and four of us all considered the chips to be the best we'd had in ages. The beer choice is also very good. Parking is easy behind the pub.Will definitely keep returning.
