My wife and I booked our hotel through Discover on our trip through the UK. This hotel was close to Snowdonia. We were the only guests at the Hotel and found the staff very friendly. The food was great but could have easily fed 4 people rather than the 2 of us. The rooms were a bit old fashioned but... More

If you like homemade Sunday carvery this is the place to go, great value for money, staff are great! Will do anything to make you feel comfortable. The views are spectacular, feels homely with an open fire and even a spontaneous pianist in the restaurant.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch carvery recently! Huge choice of meat and vegetables! Peaceful atmosphere. Very friendly helpful staff so thoroughly recommend it. It's along a lane so not easy to find but well worth a visit

Had a lovely short break at this hotel booked from a KGB deal. Situated at the top of a very steep country lane the hotel is built from lovely old stone and I am sure in its previous life it was very busy. The hotel is clean but needs a full makeover. Could be made very beautiful. The decor is... More

We stayed here for a weekend break. Views fantastic, very good location. Staff very friendly and helpful, and we were made to feel very welcome. Food... very big portions and very nice. This is a beautiful building but in need of lots of TLC. As others have said it is very tired and desperately needs updating. We had issues with... More

The hotel is located up a large hill on a country lane, its views towards snowdonia is quite breathtaking! Besides that, its all down hill literally. We stayed in room 7 which reminded me of a 1970's blackpool b & b decor with cellotaped down lifted wallpaper edges,a shagpile carpet that looked like it had seen at least two or... More

Was booked in here by work. On a Thursday night me and my wife were the only ones in the hotel. However, the lady in charge was lovely and very welcoming. The lounge was really relaxing with the log burner really effective. We had an impressive meal from the bar menu and two of the best pints of Strongbow I've... More
