Right across from the lake. Everyone at the campground are great. Very reasonable price for a site. Have plenty room between sites. Not on top of each other. Lots for the kids to do. Close to the town and markets. Great place to sit around a campfire at night.

On a budget as travelling California. Came across this camp first and as the staff were so friendly and helpfull we decided to stay 4 nights in total. Great location and even though the camp is situated right beside a main road you really don't hear all that much. My main surprise is just the staff always happy and will... More

mature trees good sized sites and right across the road is lake tahoe. No full hook ups which was a pain but we loved the location with the beach across the street. Bring your bike-you can bike to lots of nice places to shop, eat, browse..etc. We'd come back.

My huband and I were spending a week in Lake Tahoe. We wanted to camp close to Zephyer Cove as we were taking a sunset sailboat excursion out of the area. Well at Zephyer Cove campground it's $70.00 a nite on a weekday and for that amount of money we could stay in a hotel. Soooo we happened to pass... More

This was our 2nd year camping here. You have to make reservations way in advance since it is always booked. I love the pine trees, walking to the beach and the enormous sites. This year the city was redoing the road in front of the lake. There is a nice kayak rental place right in front of the Best Western.... More

My boyfriend booked this campground for us without doing his research, and we ended up not enjoying most of our time at the campsite. It was loud, and there were a lot of people partying and smoking and drinking near us. Also, its right by a major road through S Lake Tahoe, and it didn't feel like we were really... More

Well maintained, organized, clean, great campsites! Fast free WiFi, inside city so access to everything via bike/trolley, walking, great location easy to get to mountains. Quiet time begins at 8pm so no loud parties. Shady lots of trees, not dusty. Only downside is it is near highway so you hear traffic all night long. Highly recommended.
