Our room was filthy, the sheets and pillows had a dirty, musty smell. They had not been washed. The bathroom area was dirty and the garbage cans were not lined. When we awoke the first night, it was to the next room over who set their alarm LOUDLY at 4am. They didn't bother to turn it off. We checked out... more

As other reviews have mentioned, my first impression wasn't good for this hotel, I found the front desk staff not overly friendly and wasn't offered any information about the hotel (although this did vary during my 2 night stay). Upon inquiring about the shuttle to the mall, I was left with the impression that I could get a ride if... more

We found the hotel quite nice over all including the staff, lobby & rooms. It was clean and well presented, kids enjoyed the pool. Long way from central Vancouver but convenient to malls& shopping. Found it strange that they had a band playing loud dance music in the lobby/ dining area, but could not be heard 5 floors up. Irish... more

Just checked in. Lobby was depressing room is even more depressing. Especially for the money. has an old room smell to it. $89.00 a nite is tops for this dump. ac is loud and in- sufficient. So on top of wasting energy it dosen't even cool the room. front desk was nice more

Stayed at this hotel since the one I wanted by the river was booked up. The staff was not that friendly, during check in, I seemed to be inconveniencing them. They warned me not to leave anything in the car, the reason I picked this hotel was that they had secured parking and even had it noted secured parking in... more

Was a little nervous having read some of the other reviews, but I have no complaints. Compared to a 5star hotel, yes it is lacking, for the average traveller it was fine, location, shopping, restaurants all within walking distance and a good base location. Staff were polite, convenient parking. I must also mention travellers beware..do not stay in any no-name... more

We booked a room at the Executive Plaza with our 8 month-old daughter, thinking that the rate was average for a decent hotel in Burnaby/Coquitlam. I used to travel to Richmond and Coquitlam on business until last year and paid about $15 a night more for much better accommodations at the Marriot. Check-in staff were hardly friendly, and slipped by... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July 2008. We booked through Hotwire at the rate of $104/night including taxes, a steal considering how expensive hotels in downtown Vancouver are during the high season. While there, we noticed that this hotel catered to large groups of Korean tourists and conference goers. The rooms are average to small in... more

While this hotel offers very good conference facilities, my room was not very nice or clean. The flourescent bathroom light fixture flickered and buzzed (a guy came once and "fixed" it temporarily by switching it on and off), the fan was very noisy, the heater was noisy (a wall mounted unit), there were stains on the curtains, dirty carpeting, and... more
