I've had the pleasure of staying here on more than one occasion. I've seen quite a bit of Osoyoos over the years and Destiny Beach Resort is by far the best place to stay. No other establishment offers as many amenities such as kitchens that are stocked with coffee makers, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery, micro-waves, fridges with freezers (not... more

On the beach ... so what. This is a sad imitation of family-run motel on a beachfront is embarrassingly tiny (maybe 60 feet or so for the guests). Frankly, Destiny Beach Resort is a cheap rip-off that's all about grabbing your money. Your credit card is charged a 'non-refundable deposit' immediately upon booking. This should be everyone's first, great-big, red... more

A remarkable turnaround, our last stay was summer 2008, and as we were passing through for a night this month, we wanted to stop and say Hi to Chris and Trish - the place looks great already, you can clearly see that there has been a lot of TLC applied, the rooms have been painted as well as the fence,... more

We decided to stay at Destiny Beach again this year, coming from the Wet Coast (Vancouver,BC) and badly needing escape from the rain. We got just what we needed - hot sun, great private beach away from the tourist spots, and pleasant treatment by the hosts, Chris and Trish. We were a bit disappointed the pool was not available but... more

Have stayed here over years, and have found it to be a diamond in the rough. Prices are great and staff friendly and helpful. Too bad this is the last year for this resort, as it was a great place to take our family more

We have had 2 stays at Destiny Beach already this year. Super location, very nice and comfortable rooms, great beach. Donny made us feel great. You feel that he enjoys your stay as much as you do. A great ambassador for the region. Like alot of the visitors, we will be back. When you find a place this good, why... more

We stayed in a VERY small room that wasn't clean. Didn't see the larger suites and assumed they must have been much nicer (in light of the other great reviews?). Our room was dark and not at all inviting and was probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever had the misfortune to sleep on. "Resort" location was quiet but... more

Our family have stayed at Destiny beach resort several times over the past 5 years and have always found the owners (Judy and Don) and the support staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are clean and the private beach is awesome. You have to stay there to understand, "a piece... more
