Our room was fine, comfortable bed and nice enough bathroom. The breakfast service left something to be desired. The hotel is right by the rail track and main road (as, of course, all the hotels on that strip are - although it is a “slow speed” road) but it was quite quiet during the night. more

Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Lady Macdonald! It was quiet, peaceful and the new linens on the bed were outstanding. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in the lovely Grassi Lakes room. The room was very nice and had great views of the mountains.The Inn is in a good spot, easy to find, and the staff were all very helpful.Highlight of the stay must be the fantastic breakfast served in the lounge. We had a great stay in the Lady Macdonald Country Inn. Excellent breakfast. Nice Staff, very helpfull. The only thing we didn't like were the trains in the night. Take earplugs!! more

I just returned from Canmore, Alberta, and spent 6 nights at the Lady MacDonald. It is everything one could want from an inn.
