What a great lodge. Located on "hotel strip" in Canmore, just off the main highway- close to downtown (about one minute drive). We are happy with our stay there since we booked through Expedia for US$68.30 per night including taxes and fees. We stayed at the Bear Country Lodge in October. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly. There are a number of good restaurants nearby. The hotel is in walking distance of downtown shopping and hiking trails. We visit Canmore and Banff area quite often. We preferr to stay in Canmore. more
