Canmore is a very good base for Banff as it is only 17 kilometers outside. We found a real little gem. If you like staying in a dimly lit museum with regimented conditions imposed on the paying customer, then this is the place for you. my wife and I have just returned from a great holiday in the Rockies. We were particularly impressed with the Quilters B&B,especially with the friendliness of the hosts, Roseanne and Grant. They provide outstanding breakfasts and go out of their way to provide help and much appreciated advice on the area- Roseanne giving us excellent advice on hiking trips. more

Roseanne and Grant, the owners, make you feel "at home" in their home, from the moment you arrive.
