Well, the first thing about this motel is how convenient it is to the highway. That deserves a thumbs up but don't be in any hurry to check in. Once the front desk staff realized I spoke only English, the long wait began. I waited about 20 minutes to get served and then, after, I was passed over from one clerk to another a couple of times. And even that was a difficult conversation. Like I didn't notice that French speaking customers were being served first. Politics has not place in businesses dealing with the public. And when I wanted a room that allowed my dog, I was told I had to pay a deposit for him. A two hundred dollar deposit on him. That was incredible.
The room itself was nice and rather large. It was quiet where we were and had access to a pond at the back of the property. The landscaping was really nice. And, thankfully, the a/c worked.
