My wife and I stayed at Toadhall Bed and Breakfast over the long weekend in March. Our host was fabulous - knowledgeable about the area (we went on some wonderful winter walks in the nearby forests), and a terrific cook. The house is very airy and spacious, being modernist in design. Our room was great, with a lounge area adjacent to the bed, a stunning view of the lake, and full ensuite bath. We enjoyed wine in the greenhouse that is filled with lush plants, and felt like we were in a summer garden. We will definitely be back - for the food, the view, and the overall relaxing effect of Toadhall. more
