Stayed here 1 night September 2009 travelling in Eastern Canada. Good location for road network. Hotel a 10 minute drive out of Pembroke town. Good size room with 2 queen beds. Clean and well appointed. Free internet in room - cabled. Friendly staff. more

We stayed in a family suite and would definitely stay again. It is conveniently located just off the highway, across from an Irving truck stop and not far from the Petawawa base. The suite has a nicely furnished bedroom with a Queen bed, a full bathroom, small kitchenette, and a living room with two couches (one pull-out), chairs, tables and... more

Apart from the night front desk clerk being a bit contrary and acting like we were interrupting her, our stay at this hotel was fine. Nothing extravagant but got a good night sleep out of it! No breakfast but offered a 10% from the attached restaurant. more

We stayed at this hotel while visiting family. This hotel was highly recommended by family & friends. The rooms were very large & comfortable and also very clean, with all the room amenities. In fact, we found the whole hotel spotless and well maintained. We really enjoyed the indoor pool & whirlpool, it was very relaxing after a very hectic... more

We stayed at this Best Western on our way from Algonquin Park to Ottawa. The hotel is off the main road and there is very little around apart from a service station on the other side. The place is big and only on 2 floors. It felt very much like an 80’s retirement home like the Shady Pines from the... more

The room cost $145.00 but was not worth it. Outdated and not very clean. My son slept on the sofa bed and went in the hot tub and pool . In the morning he ended up with bug bites or a rash. Not sure if it was bed bugs or rash from the hot tub. Advised hotel management but they... more

As a one night stay not a bad place. But then not very exctiting or really inviting. Just OK! Rather tired and in need of a makeover. Probably that also describes Pembroke! Room smelt of smoke though it says it is smoke free. Didn't try the breakfast, went to Eganville instead on our way to Algonquin. more

The Best Western website describes this porperty in a couple of places as a 'new' hotel. I guess if you describe a nineties build as 'new' then that's ok. My personal understanding of 'new' would be something closer to a hotel built inside the last couple of years. Don't get me wrong. This is a decent hotel with decent facilities... more

Positives: In a great part of town - trolley is right outside. Fantastic bed but not great pillows. Good value for the money. Negatives: Bad continental breakfast(not included in room rate), VERY noisy AC that runs all night unless you turn it off, and not the friendliest staff. If you want access to the whole downtown of Toronto from your... more
