Big Narrows Resort,situated in the Southwest corner of Lake of the Woods,is a full service American Plan resort that offers unparalleled service and accomodations.Having stayed at numerous camps on LOTW,I feel that I can offer an objective review of the facility.The resort is quite large,nicely spread out over several acres of land.The main lodge,where meals are served and the bar is situated,is central amongst the cabins.It features a huge deck out front,south-facing and overlooking the lake-fantastic view.Cabins vary in size and layout,and all have undergone major renovation in the last few years.Air conditioning in most,which certainly came in handy when we stayed there last year.Each also features a small fridge with fresh water and coffee makers on the counters-nice touch.Cabin staff are excellent and the overall cleanliness is bar none.Meals served in the main lodge are great,however,be prepared to be on a bit of a schedule.If you ask nicely,though,the kitchen will take care of... more
