I have stayed in pretty much all of the accomodations in and around Blue Mountain. The village is nice because you are right in the middle of everything and the units there are fairly new and updated. The Cachet Crossing condos are right beside the village and look onto one of the smaller hills. I would recommend Cachet crossing for either a large group as the units are much more spacious than the village suites and condos, or if you are travelling with a young family. We enjoy walking out the front door of the condo and skiing right over to the magic carpet ride for our 5 year old. The other advantage is that you can bring your snowboard/ski equipment into the units at Cachet crossing and there is a bench in the hallway for you to sit at while you take off your boots, etc. In the Village you need a locker.
The decor in some of the units is a little outdated but the living room size (even has a wet bar set up) more than makes up for it. You also get to use the amenities... more
