We stayed at the Wheels Inn for 2 nights during a basketball tournament. The rooms are grungy, BADLY in need of renovation. Some people in our group had ants in their rooms, we had numerous potato bugs. Floors in the room were dirty, hairs all over the bathroom and in the blankets, stains on the bedspreads, toilet seat was not... more

Took my family to Wheels Inn for a family getaway. Booked online and had no issues at check in. We were put in the tower - everything was warm and fairly clean although the single pane windows leaked like a strainer under a tap - there was a winter storm outside and the snow was coming in the windows in... more

We stayed there Feb. 13 - 15. I used the coupon from their website and saved $30.00 at check in. Most of the activities open at 5:00pm on Fridays. We started the activities at 8:00pm and had plenty of time to bowl and get on the rides. That night we ate Axle Annies. It was empty....a few people at the... more

We stayed in Wheels Inn for the Family Day weekend (Feb 14 - Feb 16). Our room was Corporate Deluxe at the 2nd floor and had a fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer and 2 queen beds. The room itself and the bathroom were renovated and clean, the furniture was quite modern and the matresses were comfy. The view wasn't that... more

This was our 2nd trip to the Wheels Inn as we stayed there for a weekend last year as well. Both times it was a free excursion for me and the family due to some seminars and conferences the wife would be attending there. So I cannot complain over the fact that our weekend was paid for by our organization... more

my family and I have been to the Wheels Inn twice in the past year and we had a great time! It is perfect for families with kids under the age 14. Our kids are 6, 4 and 1 and they had a blast. Yes it is no Wolf Lodge but not everyone can afford to go there...even for one... more

Had not been to this place since 1982 (March Break of grade 12) It was kinda rough back then so I was expecting the worse. We were there for an over niter for a hockey tournament. It's a good spot for that, they had a party room on the 10th floor that I was in in 1982. It was real... more

In August, I made a reservation for October 6th as a birthday present for our four-year-old granddaughter. She (and my husband and I) had been looking forward to our mini-vacation for weeks. Then...six days before our arrival, we were notified by phone, that the waterslildes, bowling, and any rides that were age-appropriate for her were closing down. Imagine our disappointment!!... more

Hotel was only option open to us. Was quite pricey compared to the U.S. The walkways all smelled of smoke and even the non smoking rooms had the odour. Was one night stop over and was a roof over our heads. Wouldn.t wish to return even though we have kids young enough to enjoy funfairs and water slides. more
