We stayed at this hotel based on the ONE glowing review in Tripadvisor. When we checked into our room, I noticed right away three hairs on the bathroom floor. Because we had just driven 10 hours and were starving, I did not want to deal with getting another room or have housekeeping take care of the hairs. Besides, I do not get grossed out that easily. My tolerance level however had changed after spending a sleepless night because of the horrible expressway noice all night. Even my husband, who is a sound sleeper, woke up several times. I was mad enought to inspect the bathroom further so I could let the staff know about the hairs in the bathroom and asked why they put us in a room facing the expressway when there were hardly any guests there. I stopped counting after 17 hairs. Now I was grossed out. The staff was apologetic upon checkout and told me I should have let them know. Too late, I will never stay at a Holiday Inn Express again.
