A funky little inn right across the street from the sound, great views, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and ferry from Anacortes, WA. Stayed 4 nights, and my 15 year old son and I liked it. Wifi was slow the first night, and our room didn't get serviced one day, could've been our fault, but overall it was a great... more

I found this hotel on Trip Advisory. It was a great hotel. Across the road from the ocean. The management was a great fellow, very helpful and very pleasant. The room was great. The little suites looked like they would be great if you were staying for a few days. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. more

From outside and in, you can tell that this place has been around for a while. They could sure use a makeover. Having said that, although it looks dated, there's actually nothing wrong. Everything is clean, everything works properly, it's quiet and comfortable. What more do you want, really? Well, breakfast would be nice. But that's a fairly recent custom... more

Very pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of our suite. Full working kitchen with lots of storage space and well-equipped (wine glasses, even!). More cabinets than some apartments I've been in. Lots of sleeping space...the suite we were in (Pender Is. suite) had a double, twin and a pull-out in the living room. Close to the water and 2.5 km walkway... more

Do not stay at this hotel. The pictures on the Internet are very deceiving; the outside looks great, the view is superb but watch out because the inside of the rooms are a disaster. They are dusty, old relics from the 1940's. The dust covered furniture must be from a thrift store, the bedspread and blankets are wasted, no a/c,... more

We spent one night in one of the regular hotel rooms at the Cedarwood and were very impressed. As others have noted, the location is right across from the water on a fairly quiet street. It's only a few blocks to downtown Sidney which is a charming town with lots of cafes, small shops and bookstores. The grounds are very... more

We stayed in one of the Lasqueti cottages. The receptionist told me these were the original rental cottages on the site which were relocated to the back of the property when the rest of the hotel was built. Our ferry from Tsawassen arrived after dark, but we easily found our way to the Cedarwood inn in Sidney. At night it... more

We had a fantastice experience at this lovely property. The location cannot be beat! On a quiet streat just a few blocks from downtown Sideny right on the beach. The rooms are spacious and well laid out and very well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Di we mention the view? more
