After our disappointing experience at the Revelstoke Lodge (Read my review on that) we stumbled upon the Powder Springs Inn and out of sheer desperation went in to enquire about a room for the night. Yes, they had a room, and at that point all seemed fine, but what a mistake it turned out to be! It was right next... more

We stayed at Revelstoke for one night. Powder Springs was the first hotel we saw, and our first impression was not very good. A bit dark, and renovation activity's around the hotel. So we went looking in other places, but we found nothing that was satisfactory. Too expensive, and/or rooms that smelled odd (start of the season?). So we went... more

This is a nice motel. The rooms are dated but clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpfull. I understand that it is under new management. Inprovements are being made. I tried the new pub "The Last Drop" great food and friendly staff. The motel is in a great location, everything is within walking distance of the motel.... more

My group and I chose not to stay the night as we were all basically appaled at the state of this hotel upon arrival. We were in our rooms for a total of 15 min and that was quite enough before deciding to call around and make arrangements somewhere else. The place looked like a dream on it's website, but... more

We had booked two rooms as we were partaking in winter sports (ie. snowmobiling and skiing) and found the website had created appeal, however when we arrived we were greatly dissappointed. We check in and were told that none of the restaurants were open but we would recieve vochures for breakfast - somewhere - in the hotel. We went to... more

You get what you pay for. The room was dirty, noisey, small, cold and the smell of weed came right through the wall from the next room. We got no sleep that night. Brutal dive!!!! There's a reason they don't post pics of the rooms. more

I booked this hotel as it was a good deal, i was a bit worried after reading trip advisor after booking. The location was very good but the rooms are dated but clean. Staff were friendly, was dissapointed the bar was closed as they are refitting it out. Was told that the rooms were going to be next which is... more

Hotel is getting a revamp. Seems they have started in the Pub and are moving throughout. Main thing is the service was way better then when we stayed last time, and the new owners have stopped any smoking indoors! It still needs a facelift, i would imagine the next time i stay it is going to be much better! Will... more

I wanted to go on a snowmobile trip. I don't know how we ended up at Powder Springs. My wife made the reservations. The hotel was just awful. The owner, Clyde, was rude and smelled of cigarettes. I also met his wife, Donna, and they seemed like they were a perfect match. The rooms were as sparse as a hotel... more
