This older-style motel is quiet and away from the railway tracks in Revelstoke but close to the main downtown area. The rooms are circa-1960s but spacious, clean, and comfortable. The Alpine Inn looked a bit basic when we arrived and some of the furniture was shabby. However,for very little money, we had a reasonably large, clean'apartment' with a kitchen/ dining area, lounge area, large bedroom and bathroom. Revelstoke has a great public swimming pool and free internet in the library. Don't miss the nearby ' Meadows in the sky'. more
