My wife and I went for August long weekend back in 2011, had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. We have booked another trip for this August but this time for a whole week in the Monashee Cabin and we can't wait to go. This place is just off the highway and close to a lot of fun things... More

We stayed here for 4 days in the summer to get away from the city and relax out in the mountains. It's a great place to go - I only wish it was still open for the winter so we could stay there for skiing! Fantastic views, the hosts were gracious and hospitable, and cute little place! We stayed at... More

Stopped over at Griffin Lake on our road trip from Vancouver to Yoho and the Icefields Parkway. Perfect setting from which to visit Revelstoke Railway Museum and the Last spike. Heather and Wayne made us very welcome. Wonderfully restored and furnished Lodge - fascinating to see all the work Wayne and Heather have put in to bring the Lodge up... More

We stayed for one night in August and fell in love with Griffin Lake Lodge. The room was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed canoeing on the lake, sitting admiring the view, the great food and Heather and Wayne were so welcoming. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

The lodge is lovely and shows the effort made by Heather and Wayne to restore the original wreck, great view, good food and friendly hosts. I found the noise from the highway and railway spoilt the setting though.

This is a small lodge on a small lake with wilderness all around it. The owners were very friendly.I had a small cabin which did not have a kitchen. One room with a small table & the bed which were very clean and tastefully decorated. The landscaping was lovely and had lots of outdoor seating in various areas on the... More

enjoyed our stay in one of the Griffin Lake cabins. It is perfectly situated about half way between Banff and Vancouver. A visit to Mount Revelstoke - nearby - was a superb way to spend the day - you can drive 25 kms up the mountain and walk for the final 1 km. Numerous long and short hikes at the... More

We had four glorious nights at Griffin Lake, Heather & Wayne made us so comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. We had fun on the canoes and the breakfasts were superb as was the meals Heather prepared for us in the evening. Our rooms were large and spotlessly clean as was the rest of the house.

What a fantastic B & B! Gracious welcoming hosts - super decor - immaculately clean - delicious food - beautiful glass like lake - salmon in the lake - canoes & kayaks - evening bonfires that we enjoyed with other great guests! We had perfect weather for our 3 night stay, but guest lounge on the 2nd floor is well... More

We found Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge thanks to tripadvisor. We stayed two nights in August. The view of the lake and mountains is amazing. We stayed in the English room, upstairs in the main lodge. Large, immaculate room with comfy beds. There is lots of "common area" to lounge in, and many chairs overlooking the lake outside. Breakfast was beautifully... More
