A good base camp for travel around the area. The staff was helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do. Would definitely suggest taking the old steam train ride to the sawmill. Well worth while. more

I've stayed here on numerous occasions when on business in Port Alberni between Aug 2007 and April 2008 - Great staff, rooms are clean and have all the things one expects (TV with cable channels, free wifi internet access, coffee and tea making facilities - some rooms have fridges / microwave ovens as well).
