My wife and I travelled to stay at The Beach Club this weekend. We had some friends who recommended this spot and it didn't disappoint. The rooms are spacious, and travelling with 2 small children that is a must. We had a two bedroom suite, and we found it a home away from home. The suite had full kitchen, and... more

Work as required me to go to Parksville for years, I have stayed in almost every hotel there ever is (or was) in town. This is the best place, and the place we always stay more

Second time there in the last 2 years in a 2 bedroom villa on the beach. Views are exceptional and the lay-out of room and appointments are very good. Reasonable price for accommendations given the room size, features and location. Indoor pool could be better, i.e. bigger and outdoors in the summer and why the restaurant food was good, it... more

I spent Thanksgiving weekend at this resort with my husband and 3 children. We were SO IMPRESSED! We travel with the kids a great deal and I have to say this was the best resort for families I have ever stayed in. We booked a two bedroom unit with an ocean view and it was gorgeous. We had complete privacy... more

Stayed at the Beach Club Resort during a girls getaway and thouroughly enjoyed everything! The rooms are very well appointed and completely self contained including a washer and dryer in the one bedroom suites. We had all the amenities of home. They even provide you will enough laundry detergient to do a load a day. The kitchen had full sized... more

Five of us (including a one year old child) stayed in a one bedroom suite. But there was still plenty of room. The master bedroom was huge so there was lots of room to set up a travel cot for our son, and the king-size bed was great for us. My sister and her husband stayed on the fold-out couch... more

We spent 3 nights at the Beach Club Resort as the 4th stop of a 6 stop trip to BC and Seattle. This was our favorite room of the six. I have no clue what the previous reviewer considers a blot on the landscape. Yes, the time shares they are constructing may detract from the atmosphere, but that’s life. We... more

The original Island Hall Hotel was a jewel of Vancouver Island. A truly gracious place in a magnificent setting. A hotel with a beach for a doorstep. The new Beach Club facility is a grotesquerie by comparison. Whereas the Island Hall was elegant, the Beach Club is ostentatious. A truly hideous blot on what remains a beautiful landscape. It is... more

I have stayed at this property twice, it is amazing. The first time I stayed in a one-bedroom suite the next a studio suite. The rooms were both amazing, the beds are very comfortable, the furnishings in the room are most modern and the bathrooms are luxurious! The suite bathroom incl. a soaker tub and shower stall, and the studio... more

I am a demanding traveller. I always try to secure 5 star hotels for less than $300 per night and the Beach Club delivered. Rarely do pictures on websites accurately reflect rooms and facilities but this one did. Rooms were new, clean and beautifully decorated and contained top notch amenities (dvd, flat screens, nice millwork, pot lights etc. and kitchen... more
