Our son was travelling down to BC from Regina and stopped at Golden as his half way point. We made a booking for him and when he arrived there he called us in shock and he explained what he found. The motel is run down, in his words delapitated, and the website does not accurately reflect what you will get....

Just meters off the hiway and a low price ARE THE ONLY REASON PEOPLE END UP IN THIS PLACE! Smelled like a bingo hall, beds are fit for the dumpster,and in general it's suited more for a halfway house for convicts on the run & crackheads. And you leave with a free gift; BED BUG BITES!!!!!
