We stayed at the Rondo on our way from Calgary to the west coast and also on our return. One of our friends left some personal items there during our first stay. We phoned the Rondo the next day and they kept them for us so we could pick them up on our return trip 2 weeks later. The current... more

When you first arrive at the Rondo, it looks isolated and old. However, as soon as I stepped into the main office, I was greeted by the nicest manager -- very refreshing given some of the other hotels I had recently stayed at. We were planning on passing through Golden and wanted a place to stay right in town, not up on the highway bypass. I found the Rondo Motel website, and it looked like it would suit our needs, so I gave them a call.
