My wife and I visited the Sentry Mountain Lodge for 5 days in August 2004. We had an amazing time at the lodge, which is stunningly set in an idyllic clearing amidst pine trees at 7,000 feet in the Selkirks. Every day began with a delicious breakfast, then we were guided on amazing hikes (one which included a grizzly sighting), followed by swims in pristine alpine lakes, a trip to the sauna, and finally, a gourmet dinner prepared with much TLC. Each night we retired under our down comforter and slept incredibly well. If you want to do remote hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter and want to feel like you're roughing just a little without really doing so at all, this is your place. We can't recommend it enough!
