This motel is now an Econolodge. I read several rather negative reviews prior to booking at this motel - there were a number of events happening in Cranbrook and there were only a few rooms available and they were expensive. This property is now known as the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Cranbrook. This wasn't a very good Econo Lodge compared to the one we stayed at in Calgary. This is the worst motel we have ever stayed at! Room 101 was so hot! It was 84 F out and the room was hotter, the a/c did not work. There was no hair dryer, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave or anything and price was not that much cheaper for not having any amenities. It did have a tv. Keep Driving... more
