We stopped in on our way through town. It's an older hotel that's had some renovations done. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. There's also a pool. Yikes. Walking into our room....I felt as if this place had maybe just recently changed to a Sandman Inn. It had a cheap motel feel & look to it. I have stayed in Sandman Inn's before in other cities & have quite enjoyed them....but this one is not great. We payed $89/night for the room & I felt ripped off.... more

We stayed here for one night in July 2006. The hotel was fine - no problems, good check in and helpful staff. The receptionist established the type of restaurant we wanted before making his suggestion. Some hotel reception staff just trot out their favourite or a standard response.
