I was recently at the Travelodge in Courtenay and had a pleasant stay. The Staff were friendly and knowledgable and rooms were clean an comfortable. We stayed here arriving late one night so as to catch the morning Powell River ferry. The room was average size with two double beds, a desk, sink area and bathroom with toilet and tub shower. Arrived without booking and was offered a suite for three adults. Rate offered was very good. Staff were extremely friendly and even rang up to check if everything was OK. I only expect that in a five star hotel! Considering what and where the Travelodge is, very good impression and enjoyable stay. more

The Courtenay Travelodge is just another motel, nothing fancy and not to expensive. Easy to find, next to mall/restaurants. Rather friendly frontdesk personel, complimentary breakfast is a little above average. Ample parking and a small outdoor swimmingpool during the summer.
