Hosts Lorne and Kim never disturb your privacy but are open to quiet and helpful chats and suggestions, such as sending us to fine dining at The Old House Restaurant on Courtenay's Puntledge River waterfront. Their outside farm dog and cat are quiet but may wander by your porch to say hi once in a while . . . the... more

A wonderful cottage set in a lovely garden, great hosts. Good walks along the nearby river. Delicious continental breakfasts. Sadly, a negative, low water pressure in Rose cottage otherwise a little gem!! more

The B and B is a bit out of the way from the nearest town of Courtenay (where you need to go for dinner and other necessities) but on the plus side, it's situated next to the scenic Nymph Falls Provincial Park. So, you can go for walks on the park's trails and see the falls. There's currently only one... more

I stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter and her cousin and we just loved it. The hosts were very helpful as far as what to see and do and the breakfasts were just amazing!! I have attached some photos. This B & B is only a few minutes from beautiful Nymph Falls...our favorite spot on the Island!! more

My husband and I stayed three nights in the Quarterdeck room, which had two levels and a porch overlooking the beautiful gardens. Kim and Lorne were a pleasure to get to know over our long breakfast conversations. Enjoyed their friendly cat and dog and the fresh eggs from the chicken coop. The trail from their property through the woods to... more

Stayed one night in Rose Cottage with our (adult) daughter. Loved the cute cottage, very nicely decorated and spotless. Breakfast, French toast, fruit, with the owners Kim and Lorne, was delicious. My only quibbles with this B&B were: a) although we informed the hosts that the accommodation was for 3 adults, there were towels, robes, and wine glasses for only... more

We have just returned from a stay in the lighthouse room. It has it's own seperate access but is part of the main house and a door gives access direct to the main house. The homecooked breakfast was lovely in particular the rhubarb cake. Breakfast is taken in the house with the owners who are really friendly. The hot tub... more

We had a most relaxing stay of two nights and were made to feel right at home. We had Rose Cottage and found it to be charming and spotless. Food was very good - especially the homemade scones. The walk to the river was wonderful - just what you need after a long day's drive. more

My wife and I spent two nights here and wished we could have stayed longer. Located at a secluded place near Courtenay, just outside the Nympth Falls Regional Park, this place was a gem. Food was great, and the place has a outdoors hot tub. We stayed at the Rose Cottage, which is separate from the main building and has... more
