I found this motel on-line when we were looking for something cheap and cheerful days before a big sailing holiday leaving from Port Hardy!

Being from Vancouver an it took us a while on a Friday afterwork just to get up to Campbell River but the woman i spoke to the day before (Christie i think) was so accommodating and helpful she said she would wait up for us to get there later than normal.

The room itself was quite "bare bones" and as they say you get what you pay for, but we were there to sleep and then go very early the next day, and the room was warm and quite and had a fridge, a bathroom and a lock on the front door, i was happy.

In the morning we i went to check out and i meet Christie's husband and there new kitten, very cute!

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for something with no frills and just want to sleep and go with GREAT service!
