This is a very clean and pleasant hotel. We had a nice large suite overlooking the water. The staff was very nice and friendly - and the food in the dining room was very good. We certainly had a most pleasant stay. more

We stayed at this hotel on a get-a-way package. It was great. Our room was very clean and had a beauiful ocean view. Both our dinner and breakfast was in the ocean front dining room and the food was very good. This hotel is built on a cliffe and is a bit confusing as you enter on the 5th floor.... more

I was more tired getting up in the morning than when I went to bed. If you want to not sleep, listen to the ice machine going off all night, people running up and down the halls, the smell of pot smoking, the smell of cigar smoking, a not to clean room, watch the ceiling in the hallway come down,... more

My family of 5 adults stayed at the Anchor Inn & Suites the nights of July 14 & 15, 2009. Because it was "waterfront", the rooms commanded a price that was higher than warranted. The rooms were about average for the usual chain motel. "Waterfront" turned out not to include a beach except at extreme low tide, and the rooms... more

I think this review is for the wrong place. 1. We are a hotel not a motel 2. We have a elevator 3. We have a ocean front restaurant & no basement.

Excellent views over the ocean, if that's what really counts in your life. Otherwise, just an average hotel, but with possibly the most convoluted floor plan of any accommodation anywhere. Getting from your room to the restaurant is an interesting exercise in route finding and puzzle solving. It's okay, but there are better choices close by. more

I attended a wedding this July at the Anchor Inn and was blown away by the spectacular veiws. The rooms were average in size and quality. This type of an occasion should be something that is remembered by all attending as a perfect and special day. Unfortunatley this was not the case. The treatment of the wedding party and family... more

A terrible situation was made much better thanks to the staff at the Anchor. Campbell River accomodations were in high demand as there were plenty of sporting groups in town. The staff member originally told me that he could only do 1 night as the majority of the groups were coming the next day but he found me a room... more

Got a good deal on a suite - massive room - with 2 sofa/couches and huge living room, and a big bedroom with double bed - best night's sleep we had all holiday! And kitchen. 2 TV's (one in each room) great with kids! Loved the pool - only ones using it. Paid for breakfast choose from the menu- you... more

I booked two queen beds over a month ago. When my sister and I arrived on Saturday night, the hotel had given away our room and had elected to put us in an "upgrade" room - the Roman Bridal Suite. Two middle aged women. One king bed. My sister slept on the couch, and we were unsuccessful in getting additional... more

We recently stayed at the Anchor Inn and had a fabulous stay! It is about a 10 minute drive to downtown where there are plenty of shops. They have a variety of Theme Rooms that are magnificent! Please check out their website for more info. The Staff are friendly and very helpful. If you are looking for a nice waterfront... more
