Stayed here for the second time in just about a year. I like Tavelodges because I ususally know what to expect. Basic amenities for accommodation. Front desk was helpful. Room was clean, sheets and towels crisp and clean. Shower and bathroom clean. Coffee fridge and microwave in room. Room was basic, but ok. Housekeeping staff seemed to get some amusement out of leaving beer bottle tops sharp edge up in the bed (between the sheets). Needless to say, they got no tip. Would not go there again, unfortunately it was the low point in staying in a lovely place. more

Checked in July 9, 2007. Small room, sparsely furnished, no bedside tables, poor lighting, thin bedsheets but towels not too bad, stained tub and chipped sink, no hair dryer. Otherwise clean, helpful front desk, nice shoreline walk across the busy street. Not staying here again. more

Stayed here 2 nights on trip north on Vancouver Island. Very basic accommodation but great value for the price we paid. Small room but clean. Light breakfast included. No restaurant, but several options within walking distance. more

Had booked into this hotel for two nights as visiting friends in the area. Thought as it was a travel lodge couldn't go wrong!! How WRONG we were! Reception ok staff helpful but from there on it was downhill! The room was awful! Shabby and in dire need of refurbishment. As always my first duty is to inspect the bedding!!!... more

this hotel is now a travelodge. we book the hotel because of its good value: free internet free breakfast pool and hot tub fridge and microwave for less than 100cad. but you get what you pay for. the front desk was not very friendly. the room smells like cigarette even when it is a non-smoking room. there are some mysterious... more

We arrived without knowing what to expect....it was cheap and we were not expecting much. We got..... A friendly welcome. A clean room. A pool. As much coffee and toast as we could eat for breakfast. If all Super 8's are as good value as this, then I'm using nothing else next time I visit BC! more

right on the ocean.. we got to see killerwhales going by right in our motel window! the staff were friendly and the kids had so much fun in swimming pool and the hot tub. Checked in Best Western but Super 8 had Air conditioning in each room, and apparently, this is the only place that has one.. it's a plus... more

Used this hotel as a stepping off point for trip to Telegraph Cove to go whale watching. Staff were so nice and helpful. Juice and toast bar was a nice way to start the morning. The rates were very low, and the hotel had a lovely view of the bay. We got much more than we paid for at this... more
