The rooms are a bit older and very regular. The pool and hot tub are nice, but no bathroom availble if you need one, you must walk back to your room. The bed was terrible and for a double bed we just got one small pillow each. There was no extra pillows in the room. The continental breakfast is a... More

Thank you so much for your comments. We are glad you enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and breakfast. We are sorry to hear the bed and pillows were not to your satisfaction. We do keep extra pillows in the credenzas in the rooms. And please, never hesitate to call the front desk in any hotel that is staffed 24 hrs/day.... More

Very nearly 4/5 but this doesn't fall under the same category as other hotels i've given 4/5. Staff at check in were very polite. Rooms were basic and clean. Continental consisted of toast, bagels, cereal, fruit and coffee. The pool and hot tub area was great. Free parking and wi-fi. It is a little way south of Campbell River (approx... More

This hotel is a little older but the maintenance on this place is awesome. Front end staff is friendly, check in was fast and fun. The hotel from the front door to the hotel room to the dog walking out back is spotlessly clean. The pool looks very nice. The computer is free and clean. Parking is free and lots... More

The lady at the counter never smiles. She looks unhappy and needs to be more personable. Quite expensive for one nights stay. I didn't see any continental breakfast out. More

Thank-you for taking the time to review your stay. I am sorry that the front desk clerk did not seem as personable as expected, our goal is to make all guests feel welcome. We try to keep our rates reflective of the value we have to offer, and competitive with other accommodations in the area. The breakfast is always served from... More

We stay at this hotel once a year, and it does the job. We stay a couple nights usually, coming into town for business. We don't spend much time at the hotel, have never actually used the pool, or had the breakfast. Beds are comfortable enough, rooms were a little tired/old in appearance but clean, shower had hot water, TV... More

The hotel staff were friendly. The hotel rooms were very clean. The pool and hot tub were very clean and well maintained. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and this was by far the best. Thanks for making our holiday great. The only thing that we could find fault with was that the staff that handled the... More

I recently spent 6 nights in The Comaox Valley & split my stay between Courtnry & Campbell River. I stayed 3 nights at the Travellodge in Courtney and arranged to spend 3 nights at the Travelodge in Campbell River. The stay in Courtney was a pleasant experience, clean spacious room & friendly staff & excellent continental breakfast. I was expecting... More

Economy at best. I stayed for two nights for a very good rate. As with the other reviews I found the place wore out and although likely clean, stained and in dire need of updating. The comforter was stained as was the tub and sink. Most upsetting was the fact I could actually hear snoring from another room! The walls... More

There were a ton of hotels along the water in Campbell RIver, including a fairly modern looking Best Western but since we had stayed at a Nice travelodge the night before in Parksville, the wife wanted to stay here. The main lobby was undergoing a rennovation at the time, so understandably was not in the best shape. The lady at... More

This travel lodge changed ownership in the recent 2 years or so. Our cousins stayed there this spring and I stayed with my children on a previous spring trip. The pool was clean and great for kids, and lot of driftwood and 'stuff' on the beach and walkway across the street. Breakfast was good with enough cereal and juices for... More
