The Drumheller Travelodge sits on the bank of the Red River, just outside of downtown Drumheller. It is a typical motel style with rooms opening directly to the outdoors. Half of the rooms have a view of the river and large dinosaur statues on the opposite side; half overlook the parking lot. I and friends all had 2nd floor river... more

Not a particularly pleasant place, a bit shabby and without many facilities. Woken up by a sprinkler at 5 am which had been set to sprinkle the window! Handy location for siteseeing but I guess the other hotels in the town might be better, they looked better from the outside anyway. more

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a room at the back which was quiet. The restaurant next door was great. The coin laundry had 2 washers and dryers is clean condition. No complaints at all. more

It did not look like much from the outside but were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the sleepy bear room and it was big. They had twin beds for the kids in a seperate area from the king bed with a tv, games and vcr. It had a frige and microwave. The staff was really nice and helpful. It is... more

This hotel was very reasonably priced. I stayed only one night, but the room was clean and comfortable. Not too many amenities, although the room did have mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable with very nice linens, not the usual thin scratchy blanket! Bathroom was clean. All rooms open to outdoor walkway, so security might be an issue... more

I reserved this room with a request for a ground floor room where I could park my motorbike close by. I was promised this. When I checked in, all they had (they said) was a room on the back of the motel on the second floor. (Great view!) I said I was worried about my motorbike and they suggested I... more

After 2 weeks on the road, this motel was a clean modern comfort compared to executive suites in airport hotels and a sleazy motel nearby for just $10 less. Rooms are small, but the view is pretty good and the beds must have been replaced since that 2005 review. Did I mention CLEAN? Nice to have the microwave, coffee, and... more

Nice motel for a good price. Great location. Might be the only one that faces the river & can see the world's largest outdoor dinosaur! Just over a short bridge from the town centre. Reasonably comfortable bed and o.k. pillows. more

We were suprised to have a room facing the river. On the backside of the hotel, there are multiple picinic tables with umbrellas. The hotel has two levels without an elevator. The rooms are very quiet and clean. more

Book a 'river side' room -- lovely! - nice picnic tables near river (back side, lower level) - free internet, microwave, fridge, TV, desk, ice, etc. - a bit of schlep from our car, but fine. Very adequate for my mom and I in a room with 2 beds. We liked it! Decently clean, lots of towels, iron + board,... more
