Auberge du P'tit Train du Nord (the correct spelling) is a 19 room Auberge on a linear trail that extends from Montreal into the Laurentian Mountains. It is situated in a residential section in the southern portion of Sainte-Adèle. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Nicolas the manager who gave us a quick tour. He proved to be a good source of information as his recommendations for dining (Chez Milot) and shopping (a glass show in Prevost) kept the womenfolk happy.
We had reserved two rooms: Mont-Laurier, a junior suite; and Bellerive, a regular double room that connected to Mont-Laurier. Traveling with my wife and two young ladies it proved to be the perfect arrangement (two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a shared living room in the middle). We found the rooms to be comfortable and clean with a view of the linear trail, petanque courts and the former train station that now serves as bicycle retail/rental shop and cafe.
