I wish I would have changed my mind and skipped out on my reservation and just paid the penalty fee. The website looked so nice, but the motel in person was such a let down. I normally enjoy staying at smaller, independently places, but not here. First thing I noticed when I walked in was how horrible the place smelled like a combination of basement, wet animal, and a dish towel. The room didn't smell any better, the REALLY need to clean the carpets and definitely clean the cloth shower cloths. The plastic drinking cups sitting out in the room don't have any plastic covering on them--I'm throwing them directly into the garbage. The toilet leans to one side. Also, the lady who checked me in at the front desk (I think she's the owner), was not very friendly or helpful. I cannot recommend staying here. more
