We've been going to the restaurant for a large annual family outing for almost 10 years and love it! The fixed price meals are very reasonable and delicious (particularly the lamb!). The service is very good, particularly Thomas, who's humor is almost a match for his excellent English. Great space for large groups and families and they also have private... More

We recently booked a Comfort plus room. The front desk was not able to speak English and didn;t want to give us a number to the Pizza place down the road. Upon arrival in our room we found that they didn't even have a mini fridge :( The room was ok but we found some hairs in the sheets that... More

I was surprised that the hotel information desk person could not speak English well. We've received the house with cigarette buds on the porch left in a bin, completely full. When we complained that the internet is not working, they said it never happened before, and they were not able to fix it. The toilet needed fixing, and the whole... More

I stayed at the Auberge du Vieux Foyer this past weekend. (17-19 August, 2012). We were 2 adults, left the kids at home. We had the Comfort Plus room. The Auberge is located off the beaten path in a very quiet wooden mountain-side location. There were no bugs at all! There is a small ''pond-like'' lake at the Auberge which... More

A few minutes walk from town, this charming hotel offers great value for the money. The food is good, the rooms are impeccably clean. You can relax by the pool, sauna, hot tub... The hotel is 2 k from the famous Parc lineraire du Petit train du nord, a remarquable bike path that runs from Mont-Laurier to Montreal using an... More

We came here for a quick getaway and the hotel surpassed most of our expectations! The 4-course dinner was exceptional: every course was better than the last, the portions were good and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Very good wine selection as well. Breakfast was also wonderful: the restaurant provides a buffet as well as table service (for eggs,... More

A fair hotel. Very nice, simple, comfy, in a quiet location. We booked for one night with the 'spontaenous package' which includes stay, dinner, breakfast, and access to the spa. The room (comfort plus) was clean, the mattress was comfortable. It got a little hot in the room during the night. We enjoyed the restaurant; average fine dining, good brunch.... More
