Hello fellow travellers! We appreciate the travel advice and wisdom fellow reviewers, and want to give back. We just returned from a stay and supper at Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge and Restaurant. Room- just fine. European type of bed and bedding. Mini-fridge and microwave is handy in the front room area. TV and channels are fine. Cleanliness is very acceptable.... more

Sorry but I would not stay at this hotel again. After walking into the hotel, I realized it was very run down but I tend not to hold judgment at a first glance. Our room was old, filthy in the sense that the air was stale; we did not even take off our shoes as the rug needed some heavy... more

My boyfriend and I decided to get away for a quick weekend in the mountains and based our selection on the reviews seen on trip advisor. Even looking past the dated building, and well past prime mattress, we discovered the walls are paper thin. I was treated to a night long conversation from the family next door. They weren't speaking... more

Found this hotel on Trip Advisor and for the most part was really satisfied. The only issue we had was that our first night was spent in a room with two double beds posing as a queen. Once I spoke to the Hungarian (?) lady innkeeper, and indicated that two doubles don't equal a queen, the situation was corrected. The... more

A good spot to stop on our road trip and price determined our stay here. The moment we drove up the road to the hotel I knew I had made a mistake. It is next to a lovely looking inn, and this place is the opposite. There is not enough parking for the hotel and the restaurant combined so some... more

This place is a bit different: really a combination of a classic B&B in the building of a motel. Sitting area, fridge and microwave all included. It looks dated, but very clean and not expensive. Hungarian restaurant on the premises makes for a different meal on your tour. Try the Hungarian specialties (eg Duck). more

We stayed here and the view was great but the food was terrible. Greasy and too much fat! No shampoo or coffee in the room. When you got breakfast the coffee was cold and there was no cream. I would rather they kept the TV and give me some small concessions like the shampoo and coffee. Overall an old building... more

This place does have nice views from the balcony, but I wasn't willing to risk my life sitting out there! The room balcony felt like it was ready to come right off the wall at any moment, and was hanging at a definite angle. The room was very large, with three separate areas: (1)entrance/bathroom, (2) bedroom, (3)sitting room with futon,... more

This little lodge has been a wonderful haven. It is spotlessly clean and neat, a rare find in today's mid-priced lodging. We felt very fortunate to have found it. The price is very fair for the property. We stayed four nights. The views are indescribable -- wide open spaces filled with majestic mountains and forested foothills. It seemed like every... more

Great place, great view, affordable! My boyfriend and I bought a package that included two nights, 2 passes to the hot springs, breakfast both mornings, and dinner one evening. It was all for 229- and was well worth it. The rooms were clean, owners were nice, dinner was delicious. This is a great place to stay, right next to the... more
