The ground floor restaurant has gone, the lobby is gloomy, no breakfast available, and the rooms in the basement smell and are poky. House-keeping alternate days only. Condos upstairs are ok, and the swimming pool is fine. The whole place feels unloved. Convenient for a blokes road trip, but if you are going with someone you love, avoid the basement...... more

Had a great time in Fernie and a fabulous stay at the Griz Inn. Comfortable beds, warm rooms with a relaxing wood chalet feel. A great pool and hot tub after a full day of skiing with an superb dining restaurant in the hotel. This is truely the best value on the mountain and the closest hotel to the lifts.... more
