Very nice quiet unit (they have their own website I saw, www.fernierental.com) for our family (two small kids). It's just a few minute walk to the ski lift and you can ski down in less than that. It has its own fireplace, w/d, full kitchen and wonderful heated tiles. Even has DVD player with movies provided but we didn't go that far to watch TV. It's our third time there, they just added a gas BBQ. more

The Bear paw Lodge is an excellent place to stay for your trip to Fernie. We were very please with the standard of accommodation. The rooms were very well maintained, clean and decorated to a high standard with a full fitted kitchen. The location was great just a few minute's walk to the slopes. Our own private hot tub was on the patio which was completely private. If the snow hadn't been so poor that year it would have been a perfect vacation. I would definately recommend it.
