The Wolf's Den Lodge is a ski-in, ski-out location at the bottom of the hill at Fernie, BC. It is the most economical facility on the hill. There is less expensive in the town of Fernie but to be on the hill is great. The rooms are simple and clean. They seem to be rented primarily by people that are budget oriented and for short stays (2 or 3 days). There are no kichenettes. The Sauna is small and clean with large lockers for skis. There is front desk service from 7AM to 8PM and internet is available for a nominal fee. A couple of restaurants and bars are very close to the lodge (100 meters) with many available in town.
There is some noise from the adjoining room showers but it was not an issue with us as everyone gets up at the same time to ski. more
