We first visited Lunenberg in 2009 just for the day and walked past the Addington Arms, but were unaware that there was a a B&B there. This was found during a TripAdvisor recce as we wanted to visit again and spend longer - 4 nights this time, 31st Oct - 3rd Nov inc. So glad we stayed here as it... More

Four of us stayed at Addington Arms for two nights during October. We were warmly welcomed by Chris and cannot speak highly enough of the advice and tips we were given for both local restaurants and places to visit. Although the outside of the Addington Arms looks fairly ordinary dont be mislead as the rooms are large and very comfortable... More

Chris and Dan were consumate hosts. This beautiful 5 star B&B was outstanding. We stayed in the heritage suite which was INCREDIBLE. The steam sauna shower was amazing and loved the aromatherapy aspect. The breakfast was to die for. They made lemon-ricotta pancakes with apple sausage, greek yogurt over fresh berries and pears....It was a true delight! Thank you Chris... More

When you stay here you are guaranteed an excellent welcome by Chris, you walk into this beautifully restored three storey building up the stairs to what you would think was a 5 star hotel. The top sail suite is bigger than any where else we have stayed and the Turkish steam room was a wonderful experience after a long wet... More

My husband and I stayed at Addington Arms Bed and Breakfast during our visit to Lunenburg. We cannot say enough about the warm, friendly hosts, Dan and Chris, who were eager to share their knowledge about this beautiful gem in Nova Scotia. We stayed in the Topsail Suite where we enjoyed the aroma therapy shower and comfortable period-decorated bedroom. After... More

The hosts of this B&B are first rate. At first the dark foyer was a bit off putting, and the color of our room was purple, but so very very clean, and oh the breakfasts. The hosts were available for directions, tourist tips and always asked and were willing to make a dinner reservation for any number of restaurants in... More

My husband and I had the Heritage Suite at this wonderful B&B. The suite was spacious, nicely appointed and had great views of the harbor. It also had the newest toys including a wonderful steam shower and blue-ray HD TV. Hosts Chris and Dan take great pride in their B&B and have provided only the best of everything. We were... More

The Addington Inn is perfectly located just a couple of blocks from the Waterfront in beautiful Lunenburg. We only spent one night there, but wish we had stayed longer. The suite we stayed in was almost like having a small apartment; the breakfast was delicious, but the best part of our stay was our hostess, Chris. She was so warm... More
