We spent a Saturday night at Serenity,140 Douglas st. The owner is Patricia Murray. We found Serenity through bbcanada.com site thad had posted rates for eash room. Immediately we colled Patricia to book her $125.00 room. Upon arriving that night Patricia said the person in our room was staying an extrs day so she upgraded us to a better room. At this point we thought nothing of it until Sun.am. Her invoice was for $175.00 with the explanation that tis is the posted rate on her website. What happens is that she advertizes on bbcanada.com but did not update. I had no reason to recheck her website. We were late so without spending more time to figure it out , we paid.The next day I spoke to Patricia and asked if it was really worth it. Ordinarilly we wound have returned with friends but now it is obvious she connot be trusted. On top of this she had(and knew about it) guests checking in at 4:00am . The night was not restful.
