I am staying in the Super 8 hotel in Fort Nelson BC with a company for work. I have received over 50 bed bug bites after 4 nights in room 304. The manager offered me a 30 percent discount towards a free night in another SUper 8. Like I want to experience this hell again. I am covered in welts... more
In response to this guest's review, I only wish she would have stated the facts. Yes, this guest did indeed have "bites" on her arms from something we believe she brought in from her line of work into our establishment. We have monthly pest & bug inspections completed by Orkin PCO and had just had our inspection done, and PASSED,...
We're moving from Seattle, WA to Anchorage, AK for the military. Fort Nelson is a very small town. Super 8 met all of our needs. There were some areas that could use more cleaning. Hallways, carpets, floors. The staff wasn't all that friendly. Definitely didn't go out of their way for us. Really liked the pool, hot tub and slide.... more
Very nice clean rooms, comfortable beds. Kids like the pool, water slide and hot tub. Free breakfast, the usual, waffles, cereal, juice. more
One of the best nights sleep I've had on the ALCAN. Moderately priced (remember you are in a remote section of Canada...hotels can & will charge you what they want, don't expect Super 8 in Kansas prices!), clean, pet-friendly and comfy beds. More than ample continental breakfast & free wi-fi were added bonuses. more
This Super 8 in Fort Nelson seemed newer. It seemed modern and very clean. The staff was very friendly considering how busy they were. Stayed 1 night on the way from Fairbanks to Dawson Creek, our next destination. Great large bright clean room with kitchenette but a desk clerk was not very nice. We had a printed confirmation but she said 'No way I'm giving you this room for this price' and she didn't. No explanation, no printed proof, no calls to the manager... more
this is a brand new hotel and is well situated on Fort Nelson's main drag. The hotel has a pool and is walking distance from both Dan's neigbourhood pub and Boston Pizza. Good value. more
This hotel is practically brand new. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent for the self-serve variety. more

I would recommend that any one traveling to Ft. Nelson with their Minor Hockey Team find a different hotel to stay in. We made reservations over the phone and were quoted $159.00 per night upon check out we were informed that our room was now $179.00 per night.
