Cabins are of a very high standard, although like a previous reviewer we had to change cabin due to a smell of gas. It might be worth specifying a wood burning stove cabin to avoid this. Despite the beauty of the lodge, cabins, riverside setting, mountains, excellent staff and breakfast--- if you want peace and quiet, crave peace and quiet, DO NOT STAY HERE. We had a comfortable bed at Cathedral Mountain Lodge and our son found it enchanting with a ladder to the loft, but there is no master bedroom or much privacy to the loft. It's all open. The lighting was dim and it was difficult to read and there was limited place to put your suitcases and no drawers for clothes.... More
