Clearwater itself, does not in all honesty have much to offer. The hotel is situated on the main through road, behind the petrol station. We have stayed here twice on our fly drive holidays through the Rockies. Very clean and comfortable with enormous bedrooms with a small kitchen area. We were expecting a motel but instead found this hotel to be surprisingly upmarket. The room was big, light and airy and was very quiet. This was an awful stay. I chose this based on Tripadvisor recommendations, but my friend and I were sadly disappointed. How can a place not have toilet paper? There was no soap either! The Clearwater Lodge is a solid and well maintained hotel. Check in was quick and friendly. There is ample parking. The room I stayed in was very clean and very roomy. Not cramped. This hotel is very nice with quality. I will be back. more

It was a nice hotel with good beds and roomy interior. The room was clean and well appointed. The balcony was pretty neat and there was a mini kitchen area. On our two week tour of the area this was our least favourite stay. The hotel was rather like a motel and although it had a restaurant and a pool it felt as though it lacked facilities.
